• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment; keep aisles clear and exits accessible.
• Treat Customers and Associates with respect and courtesy; stay professional at all times.
• Assist Customers at the register, with merchandise, and answer questions in a polite, knowledgeable manner.
• Greet all Customers with eye contact, smiles, and a friendly tone; thank them at checkout.
• Provide prompt responses to Customer inquiries and escalate to Store Leadership when needed.
• Represent and support the Ross brand at all times.
• Perform cleaning tasks to maintain store appearance (sweeping, mopping, dusting, restocking).
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to dress code.
• Assist with sizing and recovery to keep store neat and merchandised.
• Expedite newly received merchandise to the sales floor following monthly guidelines.
• Understand Loss Prevention and merchandise protection standards.
