Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Retail Associate to help provide a positive shopping experience for customers, greet and assist shoppers, and maintain a safe, clean store environment. You will work with store leadership to ensure merchandise is presented well and transactions are processed accurately.

The role requires effective communication, basic math skills, and a team-oriented attitude while following company policies and procedures to support overall store goals and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Effectively communicate with Customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative and pleasant manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers have a positive shopping experience by greeting and assisting customers.
• Maintain safety on the sales floor and report unsafe conditions to Store Leadership.
• Assist customers at the register, handle transactions accurately and politely.
• Maintain clean and organized store areas and proper merchandise presentation.
• Support loss prevention practices and adhere to MOS policies.
