Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in Seattle seeks a QA/Test Automation Engineer to translate manual test scripts into automated tests using QF-Test and to support HIL testing for automotive diagnostics.

You will coordinate offshore test-automation activities, participate in Agile ceremonies, and ensure integration with CI/CD tools while delivering clear reports and proof of concepts for client projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with HIL Testing with automotive controllers and diagnostic hardware.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and test automation frameworks in automotive diagnostics.
• Basic knowledge of CAN, UDS, CANoe, CANalyser, Davie 4 and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Translate manual test scripts into automation scripts using QF-Test for DAVIE 4 diagnostics.
• Develop and test automation scripts and validate them against diagnostic applications.
• Coordinate offshore automation work and bridge communication between client and onsite teams.
• Participate in client-driven Agile ceremonies and report progress to stakeholders.

Job description

• Quick learner of diagnostic systems and self-motivated problem-solving.
• Showcase Excellent Communication skills for obtaining work packets, status sharing and creating reports for the customer.
• Participate in the requirement gathering of Manual test scripts which is used in testing DAVIE 4 diagnostics application.
• Understanding the Manual test scripts and converting them into Automation Test scripts by designing the test scripts using the QF-Test tool.
• Implementing the design and testing it on DAVIE 4 application.
• Integrate the Automation test scripts produced at offshore with any CI\CD tools which is provided and accepted by clients.
• Develop proof of concepts.
• Work as the offshore coordinator for the Test Automation team, bridge the communication gap between client and the Onsite team.
• Working in the client-driven Agile framework and attending the daily standup, sprint planning and sprint review with clients directly.

Requirement

• Experience with HIL Testing with any automotive Controller, HSX Box, Breakout box, Nexiq Adaptor.
• Good Knowledge in all aspects of Testing Methodology and Test Automation Framework, Automotive Diagnostics.
• Basic Knowledge of CAN, UDS, CANoe and CANalyser, SamDia, Davie 4.
