This position offers an entry-level opportunity for a full-time prep cook at Flanigan's Enterprises, Inc., located in Fort Lauderdale, FL, with a pay rate of $16.00 per hour.
The prep cook is responsible for organizing kitchen tasks to ensure an efficient operation, including chopping, breaking down, cutting, weighing, mixing, washing, storing, and unloading. Responsibilities include following safety policies, preparing menu items, managing stock rotation, assisting with deliveries, cleaning, and maintaining stations, and working safely with kitchen machinery and hot or sharp items.
Qualifications include the ability to stand or walk for the entire shift, reach, bend, lift up to 50 lbs., and communicate effectively in English. The role requires working in a high-temperature, damp environment, and completing a food safety certification.
