Job summary

Cleaver-Brooks in Thomasville, GA is seeking a Machine Operator – Davi Plate Roller to program, set up, operate, adjust and troubleshoot a Davi Plate Roller in accordance with ASME code. You will read blueprints and perform layout for vessels and components.

The role requires 1–2 years of machine operation and overhead crane experience, with safety, lean practices and basic welding skills. A high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
• 1–2 years of machine operation experience and overhead crane experience.
• Must read blueprints, follow safety rules and Lean practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Davi Plate Roller per ASME code for pressure vessels.
• Read blueprints and perform layout for vessels and components.
• Set up, adjust, troubleshoot, and run the machine.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and load/unload material.
• Follow 5S/Lean manufacturing practices and safety rules.
• Assist with vessel test, fit and final assembly as needed.
