LISI AEROSPACE is seeking a Davenport Machine Operator 1 to set up, operate and troubleshoot various secondary operation machines on the 1st shift in Torrance, CA. The role requires reading blueprints, quality awareness, and adherence to safety and production standards.
Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and substantial hands-on manufacturing experience, with strong analytical and collaborative skills.

SUMMARY
Sets-up, operates, and troubleshoots various machines within the secondary operations area with limited assistance and supervision in accordance with established shop practices and procedures.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities. However, may assist the supervisor by providing verbal feedback on employee performance as needed and assist in the technical coaching of trainees &/or operators. Assists supervision in delegation of work.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts and calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and standard units of measurements.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of SPC, and departmental applications (Shop Floor System)
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
