Job summary

MarathonSoft LLC in Hopkinton, MA seeks an experienced Data Science Architect to conduct POC and build ML models using Python and a broad set of algorithms.

You will design data pipelines with Databricks, AWS S3, Airflow, and Tableau, develop SAS EG and BI interfaces, and collaborate with analysts and developers globally.

This full-time role requires a bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant experience, offers 40-hour weeks from 9 to 5, and involves client interaction and ongoing maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
• Three years of experience in the job offered or as Data Science Architect.
• Experience with ML modeling and Python recommended.

Responsibilities

• Conduct POC and ML models to match requirements using Python.
• Design and develop data pipelines using Databricks, AWS S3, Airflow, Github, Informatica and Tableau.
• Develop SAS EG, Redshift, Teradata and Business Objects for BI.
• Interact with analysts and developers to determine capabilities, limitations and performance.
• Provide automation and reusable frameworks to reduce manual intervention for ML models.
• Gather business requirements from clients and perform requirement analysis.
• Prepare data analysis and investigation reports from multiple sources for clients.
• Create test cases and participate in SDLC including test automation.
• Support and maintenance during hyper care phase.
• Resource management across global platform.
• Collect project metrics and produce milestones and status reports.
• Engage with clients to build relationships for ongoing support.

Job Duties

• Conduct POC and machine learning models to match the requirements – Specialization in Machine learning programming using Python – Linear Regression, Logistic regression, Decision Tree, Support Vector Model, Naïve Bayes, k Nearest Neighbor model, K- Means, Random Forest, Gradient Boosting algorithms, ARIMAX, SARIMAX used for data Prediction, Forecasting, market segmentation, Sentiment analysis, Text Mining, Text analytics, Keras and Tensorflow.
• Perform coding based on Databricks, AWS S3, Air Flow, Github, Informatica and Taleau – Experience with AWS S3 file format, Github version control mechanism, scheduling of extraction and event jobs using Airflow tool, ETL tool Informatica and visualization tool Tableau.
• Design and develop SAS EG and Redshift, Teradata and BOBJ 4.0 – work experience in data analysis tool SAS EG which allows to manage and join multiple data sets in order to facilitate combined analysis. Expert in business intelligence tool Business objects.
• Construct the application as per the design using company specific process and techniques for sustainable and higher efficiency Interact with analysts and developers to glean information about project capabilities, limitations, required interfaces and performance – expertise in handling and implementation of project execution in setting up process and implementation with efficiency Experience in requirement analysis and client interaction to capture ,understand the scope.
• Provide automation and reusable frameworks during the design and machine learning application to reduce the manual intervention – expertise in implementation of automating machine leaning models for prediction, forecasting, segmentation and text analytics.
• Gather the business requirements and ideas from clients across different business units – Experienced business analyst with over 10 years in requirement analysis and direct client interactions.
• Provide Initial data analysis and data investigation report based on the various data sources to the client – expertise and responsible in providing data analysis using multiple source systems while working with multiple clients.
• Identify the gaps and provide the thought process to clients with innovative and sustainable solutions in the requirements Prepare test cases from test scenarios and business rules – Experience in software development life cycle ability in writing Test plan and test automation using any testing tools and document the test results for signoffs
• Support and maintenance of applications during the hyper care service phase.
• Provide resource management across global platform.
• Collect project metrics based on progress and produce milestone and project status reports for the clients.
• Interact with clients to help build client relations for providing better support and sustenance model.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field, or foreign academic equivalent, plus three years of experience in the job offered or in Datascience Architect.
