Job summary

Dataflow Systems Engineer at CACI will design and maintain ETL pipelines, enabling near-real-time data delivery for DoD customers. You will craft Java/Python processors, automate data flows, and support existing deployments to ensure reliability and performance.

A TS/SCI clearance is required, along with a strong collaboration mindset and cross-team communication. Applicants should have a Computer Science/Engineering degree (or equivalent) and 3+ years of related experience, with NiFi experience

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Experience with Apache NiFi (NiagaraFiles) or similar software.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain ETL data pipelines.
• Automate data processing for near-real-time delivery and storage.
• Develop or modify Java and Python scripts and create custom processors.
• Provide ongoing support for existing data pipelines and troubleshoot issues.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase reliability and performance.
