Location: Austin, TX Onsite

The Role:

The SoC Platform Engineering team is seeking a dedicated system-engineering lab technician to assist in testing the latest SoC products, identifying and replicating issues, and resolving problems. This role is crucial for bringing next-generation SoC-based products into Data Center solutions.

The Person:

The technician will be responsible for deploying NPI engineering projects involving AMD IP (Silicon, Hardware, Software) and debugging server hardware infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

1. Rack and stack servers across Data Center environments.
2. Maintain power and network cable standards according to Data Center guidelines.
3. Manage inventory of assets and lab infrastructure across programs.
4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders during product planning, development, and validation activities.
5. Track and report project status throughout its lifecycle.

Preferred Skills and Attributes:

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, both written and oral.
• High attention to detail and reliable follow-through in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with data center system deployment and asset management.
• Familiarity with testing tools, methodologies, and defect tracking systems.
