Job summary

Equinix in Silicon Valley is seeking an experienced operations supervisor to lead a semi-skilled team across data center sites. You will assign tasks, monitor weekly plans, and ensure timely delivery of maintenance and projects.

The role requires 5+ years of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. It also involves budgeting, vendor coordination, and incident response to keep critical infrastructure running.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervises a semi-skilled support team and maintains schedules and workflow.
• Manages personnel details including salaries, positioning, hire/fire, reviews, coaching and training.
• Plans, coordinates, budgets, and implements resources to complete projects and maintenance within the datacenters.
• Provides input and guidance towards budget and overall site capacity supervision.
• Oversees contractor work to ensure completion to Equinix's required standards.
• Assists with start up tests, documenting and reporting all problems.
• Communicates and coordinates activities and on-site staff during an incident.
