Job summary

Vision Technologies in Washington, DC seeks a Lead Technician to manage all phases of datacenter installation projects under supervision. You will own the work package from start to final documentation, oversee site activities, ensure quality and customer satisfaction, and lead a team to meet project milestones while adhering to industry standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, preferred BICSI certifications, and ability to travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• BICSI certifications preferred
• Ability to drive company vehicle and pass background/driver checks
• Lifting and climbing ladders; able to lift 75 lbs; long periods standing

Responsibilities

• Owns job layout and execution plan from receipt of work package to delivery and documentation
• Provide excellent customer service and deliver projects per customer expectations
• Lead and guide installation teams; stay current with installation procedures and standards
• Manage testing, documentation, and coordination of copper/fiber systems per TIA/EIA and BICSI standards
• Travel as required and maintain strong work ethic and flexible schedule
