Job summary

Booz Allen is seeking a Databricks Platform Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms and DataOps workflows for a Fortune 500 client program. You will leverage Databricks, Terraform, Terragrunt, Python, and SQL to scale environments and govern cloud resources.

You will collaborate with a 70+ person cross-functional team across Data Engineering, AI, Governance, and Reporting, drive CI/CD, observability, and secure AI integration while adhering to governance and auditable

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with Python and SQL and REST APIs/CLI for infrastructure
• 3+ years of experience with Databricks platform architecture, administration, and distributed processing
• 3+ years of experience with Terraform and Terragrunt (IaC)
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and DataOps workflows with GitHub/GitHub Actions
• Experience implementing observability, logging, and monitoring (Splunk or Dynatrace)
• Experience with governance, change requests, and auditable applications
• Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize the data platform infrastructure and DataOps workflows
• Scale data environments using Databricks and IaC
• Collaborate across Data Engineering, AI, Governance, and Reporting teams
• Drive CI/CD automation and platform observability initiatives
• Assist in managing cloud budgets and securely integrating new AI capabilities
