Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Senior Databricks Data Engineer with a Solution Architect background to lead design and governance of enterprise data platforms. You will drive architectural decisions across cloud environments and modern data practices to enable real-time analytics, AI/ML, and data governance initiatives.

The role emphasizes leadership in cloud modernization, platform standards, and cost optimization, with a salary range of $140,000-$150,000 per year.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Computer Science required.
Senior Solution Architect background with Databricks experience preferred.
Experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms and governance.

Responsibilities

Applies advanced expertise in Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, and cloud-native architectures to design and govern large-scale enterprise data platforms.
Leads architecture decisions for cloud-based data and analytics solutions across Azure, AWS, or GCP environments.
Establishes and evolves platform standards, best practices, and governance for data engineering, streaming, AI/ML, and analytics workloads.
Provides architectural leadership for Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, security, data governance, and data-sharing across domains.
Drives IaC, DevOps, and CI/CD adoption using Terraform and DABs.
