NTT DATA Americas, Inc. is seeking a senior Databricks Architect to lead the architecture, governance, security, and modernization of enterprise data platforms on Databricks.

You will set patterns across Bronze-Silver-Gold layers, drive Unity Catalog governance, and partner with security, data governance, and engineering teams. You will translate business requirements into scalable data models, design secure data-sharing patterns, and guide implementation from design through production support,

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or enterprise data-platform delivery.
• Minimum 5+ years with Databricks and modern lakehouse architecture including production-scale implementations.
• Deep expertise in Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) and Delta Lake.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise Databricks Lakehouse architecture using Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
• Define target-state Databricks architecture across ingestion to consumption layers.
• Own enterprise data-governance architecture with Unity Catalog, access controls and lineage.
• Define data domains, schemas, ownership models, and stewardship patterns.
• Establish fine-grained security patterns using RBAC/ABAC, IAM integration, and encryption.
• Drive data-quality controls, observability, and SLA/SLO reporting.
• Architect data-exposure frameworks for APIs, BI tools, and downstream apps.
• Mentor engineers and partner with security, governance, and data teams.
