Job summary

OpenTalent is seeking a Databricks Data Engineer to lead the design and implementation of data systems using Databricks. You will work with clients to tailor architectures, develop robust pipelines, and drive best practices across ETL processes and deployments.

The role requires strong knowledge of Databricks, Spark, Snowflake, and cloud platforms, with experience in delivering scalable, fault-tolerant data solutions in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in architecture, design, and implementation using Databricks.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable, fault-tolerant data systems.
• Deep understanding of Databricks, Spark, and Snowflake.
• Experience deploying Databricks on cloud platforms with advanced configurations.
• Knowledge of Spark internals and Databricks runtime.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or assist in designing and developing data systems tailored to client requirements.
• Design and implement Databricks-based solutions focusing on distributed processing and optimization.
• Engage with clients to evaluate needs and craft bespoke solution architectures.
• Develop architecture roadmaps integrating business processes and technologies.
• Define and enforce coding standards for ETL processes and ensure maintainability.
