Infinitive is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer/Architect with extensive experience in Databricks on AWS or Azure to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain scalable data architectures, ensuring data integrity, and optimizing data flow and collection.

This role requires deep understanding of cloud-based data solutions and strong expertise in leveraging Databricks to drive data initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Architect with Databricks.
• Strong SQL and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop).
• Experience with AWS services (S3, Redshift, EMR, Lambda, Glue).
• Knowledge of Unity Catalog and data governance practices.
• Databricks Certified Professional and excellent problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement data architectures on Databricks in both AWS and Azure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes for data flow and system integration.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security in all activities.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Lead data governance initiatives and provide mentorship to data teams.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data architecture.
