Job summary

Torch Technologies seeks a Senior Database Manager to support FEM at Maxwell AFB, AL. The role covers database design, data warehousing, and security policy implementation while maintaining complex Oracle/Maximo environments.

You will document file plans, manage backups, and ensure data integrity in a DoD context. Required are advanced degrees or extensive DoD experience, DoD Secret clearance, and proficiency with Oracle, SQL, and Maximo configurations.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree with ten years of related experience, five in DoW.
• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years in the field, five in DoW.
• 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications.
• Active DoD Security Clearance (Secret).
• CompTIA Security+ CE certification.

Responsibilities

• Document and deliver file plans.
• Maintain electronic files and websites using web-based applications.
• Analyze and specify data requirements and specifications.
• Design, normalize, develop, install, and implement databases.
• Maintain, monitor, performance tune, backup, and recovery of databases.
• Install, configure, and maintain DBMS software.

The Air Force portion of FEM supports Industrial Plant Equipment (IPE), Ground Support Equipment (GSE), Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL), Tool Management and Owner Maintenance which is used to track production support equipment for the ALC production shops.
