Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Poly is required for all levels.
• Entry Level: Education paths include High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of experience, Associates with 2 years, or Bachelor’s with 0 years.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases is essential; basic NoSQL concepts are beneficial.
• Technical scripting (Python, etc.) helps automate tasks and maintain data integrity.
• Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to work on a collaborative, fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Database Maintenance: assist with backups, patching, and health monitoring.
• Query Optimization: write and test SQL queries for fast data retrieval.
• Database Development: implement minor changes, create tables and views.
• Troubleshooting: log and resolve basic database issues and connectivity problems.
• Documentation: keep records of schemas, data flows, and configurations.
• Collaboration: work with developers and system admins to integrate databases with web apps.
• Senior/Mid/Junior level responsibilities include architecture, design, optimization, and governance tasks as scope increases.
