Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a technical discipline required.
• 10 years experience as a DBE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• 5 years of DBE experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
• Proficiency with Python and database technologies such as MongoDB or MariaDB is expected.

Responsibilities

• Support the database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis activities.
• Support the analysis and evaluation of system improvements, optimization, development and/or maintenance efforts.
• Direct the development of complex systems using queries, tables, and database storage and retrieval using Cloud methodologies for the design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis.
• Direct the overall database structure to fit into the overall architecture of the system.
• Create new workflows to take over existing processes and provide break/fix requests or updates.
• Lead development of database structures, database parser software, and database loading software.
• Direct fulfillment of requirements from a project inception to conclusion.
• Document the database schema
