Job summary

CACI is seeking a Database Engineer to join the Secure the Enterprise initiative and help shift to automated security evaluation and authorization processes. The role focuses on building scalable database storage and retrieval using cloud methods across project lifecycles.

You will develop database structures and workflows, lead parser and loading software efforts, and ensure alignment with system architecture while supporting continuous monitoring and data gathering across engagements.

Qualifications

• 10 years of DBE experience in programs of similar scope.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 5 years of DBE experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Direct development of complex systems using queries, tables, and database storage and retrieval using Cloud methodologies for design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis.
• Direct the overall database structure to fit into the overall architecture of the system.
• Create new workflows to take over existing processes and provide break/fix updates.
• Lead development of database structures, database parser software, and database loading software.
• Direct fulfillment of requirements from a project inception to conclusion.

The Opportunity

CACI is seeking a Database Engineer to be a part of the Secure the Enterprise initiative, develop capabilities to shift from the current manual system security evaluation and authorization process to a new model that emphasizes automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and network data gathering across the entire life cycle of a project.

Responsibilities

• The Database Engineer will direct the development of complex systems using queries, tables, and database storage and retrieval using Cloud methodologies for the design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis.
• The Database Engineer will direct the overall database structure to fit into the overall architecture of the system.
• The Database Engineer will create new workflows to take over existing processes as needed as well as provide break/fix requests or updates.
• The Database Engineer will lead development of database structures, database parser software, and database loading software.
• The Database Engineer will direct fulfillment of requirements from a project inception to conclusion.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$120,800 - $265,800
