CACI is seeking a Database Engineer to join the Secure the Enterprise initiative. The role focuses on automating security evaluation and authorization, with data gathering across the project life cycle and cloud-based storage and retrieval.

The engineer will lead database architecture, workflow creation, and parser/loader development, directing efforts from project start to finish in a security-focused environment.

Formación

• Minimum TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Experience with Python and MongoDB or MariaDB.
• Familiarity with Django or Flask.
• Experience building REST endpoints and microservices.

Responsabilidades

• Direct development of complex systems using SQL-like queries and cloud storage/retrieval.
• Shape overall database structure to fit system architecture.
• Create workflows and provide break/fix updates as needed.
• Lead development of database structures, parsers, and loaders.
• Ensure fulfillment of project requirements from inception to conclusion.

The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Database Engineer to be a part of the Secure the Enterprise initiative, develop capabilities to shift from the current manual system security evaluation and authorization process to a new model that emphasizes automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and network data gathering across the entire life cycle of a project.

Responsibilities:

• The Database Engineer will direct the development of complex systems using queries, tables, and database storage and retrieval using Cloud methodologies for the design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis.
• The Database Engineer will direct the overall database structure to fit into the overall architecture of the system.
• The Database Engineer will create new workflows to take over existing processes as needed as well as provide break/fix requests or updates.
• The Database Engineer will lead development of database structures, database parser software, and database loading software.
• The Database Engineer will direct fulfillment of requirements from a project inception to conclusion.

Qualifications:

Required:

• TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Python
• Experience using MongoDB or MariaDB
• Experience using Django or Flask
• ReST endpoint
• Micro services

Education:

• 10 years experience as a DBE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• 5 years of DBE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Pay Range

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$120,800 - $265,800
