Job summary

Lucid Compliances LLC is seeking a Database Engineer to shape data storage, movement, and protection across products. You’ll design PostgreSQL schemas, implement backup/restore and replication, and tune slow queries in collaboration with product engineering and CloudOps teams.

You will also help document naming standards, retention policies, and secure access controls, while evaluating columnar warehouses and data patterns to support analytics and multi-tenant patterns.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on with PostgreSQL (or comparable enterprise RDBMS) in production environments.
• Deep SQL expertise including performance tuning, locking, and transaction isolation tradeoffs.
• Experience with migration tooling, zero-downtime deploy patterns, and schema evolution at scale.
• Understanding of encryption, auditing, role-based access, and least-privilege database users.
• Strong collaboration skills with backend engineers and CloudOps/SRE peers.

Responsibilities
