This role serves as a champion of donor information, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and effective management of data within Blackbaud software. The Database and Stewardship Manager will oversee and execute all necessary tasks related to donor data, including preparation, entry, verification, editing, gift receipting and acknowledgement, report pulling and data trend analysis, while maintaining a commitment to best practices and data excellence. The Database and Stewardship Manager is part of the 10-member Development Team, and reports to the Director of Special Events.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Serves as the lead administrator, internal specialist, and first point of contact for Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge NXT and related systems.
- Manage and implement all gifts, constituents, and other data entry for Raiser’s Edge.
- Manages ongoing maintenance of NXT, including oversight of One Cause and other systems/tools supporting the organization’s fundraising efforts through special events and auctions.
- Enforce best practices for entering and extracting data from NXT.
- Resolve problems and inconsistencies with data; complete global imports, updates, and changes when needed.
- Actively work with the finance team to ensure appropriate integration and communication between Raiser’s Edge and Financial Edge for revenue reporting and gift receipting.
- Execute data reporting tasks, including fulfilling or assigning data requests, writing and designing custom reports, and creating custom lists with precision – including segmented appeals, special event invitations, direct mail lists and targeted audiences.
- Create and maintain Raiser’s Edge Queries/Exports to satisfy internal metrics and data needs.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
- Associates degree, preferred.
- Proficient with donor database software, Blackbaud and Raiser’s Edge, preferred.
- At least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical, and drug screening
- A valid driver’s license in the state you reside in, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
