Job summary

CyberCore is seeking a Database Administrator with TS/SCI clearance and a current polygraph to join our team at Fort Meade.

You will manage MS SQL Server, MariaDB, and Oracle databases across on‑prem and cloud environments, focusing on automation, performance, backup, and recovery.

The role requires a decade of DBA experience, a technical degree, and IAT Level II certification; active clearance is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Ten years of DBA experience in programs and contracts of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Four additional DBA years may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
• IAT Level II certification (CCNA SECURITY, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ or SSCP).
• Demonstrated experience supporting MS SQL, MariaDB, and Oracle databases.
• Experience with indexing and performance management.
• Experience troubleshooting database instances and applications.
• Experience with backup and recovery processes.
• Ability to work with diverse teams toward a common mission.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot MS SQL Server, MariaDB, and Oracle databases.
• Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell and Python.
• Support databases in on-prem and cloud environments (AWS).
• Monitor performance and optimize indexing and queries.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to achieve mission objectives.
