Job summary

NextWave Publications seeks a Database Administrator in Akron to ensure security, availability and performance of our databases. You will handle data backups, disaster recovery, and data migrations while optimizing SQL design and management.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with MySQL, Oracle or MongoDB, and can work independently or with a team in a dynamic environment. English proficiency is preferred. Accommodation is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• Proven experience as DBA or similar role.

We are hiring a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Akron India As a DBA you will be responsible for ensuring the security availability and performance of our databases You will also handle data backups and disaster recovery plans The ideal candidate has experience with SQL database design and management and data migration Proficiency in English is preferred but not required This role comes with a salary of 1600$ per month and accommodation will be provided
