Leidos is seeking a senior Database Administrator to support mission-critical national security programs within the NSS Cyber & Analytics Business Area. Responsibilities include tuning, disaster recovery, and enforcing security policies while supporting on-prem to cloud transitions and related database optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of DBA experience in programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, and SYBASE databases.
• Proficiency in performance tuning, DR, security, and migration to AWS RDS.

Responsibilities

• Oracle DBA environment setup using OEM Cloud Control and DataGuard.
• Administer Oracle, SQL Server, and SYBASE databases.
• Support Oracle to AWS RDS migration efforts.
• Perform performance tuning, monitoring, indexing, and disaster recovery.

• Optimize database structure, storage, and query performance.
• Assist with installation and administration of database systems and tools.

Leidos has an exciting opportunity for a Database Administrator within our National Security Sector’s (NSS) Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA). Join a team supporting mission-critical national security programs focused on Security Engineering, CNO, SIGINT, Mission Software, and Cryptographic Key Management.

This role supports the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of complex IT systems and database environments. The DBA will maintain the integrity, security, and availability of databases; perform disaster recovery, performance tuning, and monitoring; and support Oracle, SQL Server, and SYBASE administration. Responsibilities also include database optimization, security policy implementation, and migration efforts from on-prem Oracle environments to AWS RDS.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oracle DBA will build a new environment using Oracle OEM Cloud control and DataGuard.Maintain database integrity, security, and availability


• Administer Oracle, SQL Server, and SYBASE databases


• Support Oracle to AWS RDS migration efforts


• Perform performance tuning, monitoring, index maintenance, and disaster recovery


• Implement database security policies and procedures

Basic Qualifications

Pay Range

Pay Range $131,300.00 - $237,350.00
