Job summary

MetroWest Boston manufacturing client seeks a Data Warehouse Analyst/Engineer for a full-time, hybrid role combining business systems analysis with data work.

You'll partner with the internal development team, understand the ERP and MES, and own data issues from diagnosis to resolution, including cleansing, dashboard building and ticket triage. This role blends BSA responsibilities with hands-on data tasks as priorities evolve.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on BSA and/or Data Analyst experience with resolving data or system issues.
• Data engineering/ETL depth and familiarity with data warehouse layering (bronze/silver/gold).
• Power BI experience for building and troubleshooting dashboards.
• Requirements gathering and stakeholder management experience.
• Flexible and adaptable mindset between data work and BSA/support tasks.
• Comfortable in a still-evolving, not-yet-fully-built environment and onsite 4 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Perform data cleansing and dashboard building to support business decisions.
• Troubleshoot data issues end-to-end and document resolutions.
• Gather requirements, write specifications, and triage tickets.

Our Manufacturing client in MetroWest Boston has a Full-Time Job opportunity for a Data Warehouse Analyst / Engineer

This is a hybrid role combining Business Systems Analysis with hands-on data work. You'll partner directly with the internal development team, gain a deep understanding of the company's ERP and a fully custom, in-house-built manufacturing execution system (MES), and take ownership of data issues end-to-end — not just flagging problems, but diagnosing and resolving them. Day-to-day work will initially lean data-heavy (cleansing, dashboard-building, troubleshooting), with BSA responsibilities — requirements gathering, spec writing, ticket triage — as an ongoing part of the role that may grow over time.

Must Haves

• 5+ years of hands-on Business Systems Analyst and/or Data Analyst experience, with a track record of personally troubleshooting and resolving data or system issues
• Data engineering/ETL depth — Top Priority - clean data and run it through an ETL process, understands data warehouse layering (bronze/silver/gold).
• Power BI — building and troubleshooting dashboards.
• Analyst experience — requirements-gathering/stakeholder experience
• A flexible, adaptable mindset — comfortable moving fluidly between data work and BSA/support responsibilities as priorities shift
• Comfortable working in a still-evolving, not-yet-fully-built environment
• Able to work onsite 4 days/week in MetroWest Boston
