Job summary

Cook Systems is seeking a skilled Data Warehouse Analyst to gather information needs, prepare system requirements, and ensure accurate data loading within a dynamic data warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate will develop data mining capabilities, database architecture, and metadata repositories while providing technical consulting to users and stakeholders across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years IT work experience in BI tools and systems.
• Extensive knowledge of data warehouse and data mart concepts.
• Experience in DW architecture, development, and support across multi-platform environments.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and lead mid-complexity initiatives.
• Capability to coach junior technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Gather and assess business information needs to prepare system requirements.
• Analyze data mining in a data warehouse environment.
• Develop database architecture, metadata, and repositories.
• Review data loaded into the warehouse for accuracy.
• Interact with users to define reporting requirements.
• Provide technical consulting on data conflicts and usage.
• Prototype solutions, prepare tests, and execute testing.
• Manage data replication, extraction, loading, cleansing, and modeling.
• Maintain knowledge of DW tools, languages, and shells.
