Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Data Visualization Specialist to develop and support data visualization solutions and collaborate with cross-functional analytics teams. You will leverage Power BI or Tableau to build dashboards, tell data-driven stories, and prepare datasets for visualization in DoD-related environments.

The role requires 3+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and a Secret clearance.

You Have:

3+ years of experience in creating dashboards and visual reports, including with Power BI or Tableau

Experience with data storytelling, including selecting appropriate chart types, applying visualization best practices, and aligning visuals to key insights

Experience with processing and preparing datasets for visualization, including cleaning, filtering, or quality checks

Experience with using the Advana platform to perform data discovery, analytics, and visualization within Department of Defense environments

Experience working with cross functional analytics teams to capture visualization requirements and iterate on designs

Ability to develop advanced or interactive visuals using cutting edge visualization platforms and analytics tools

Ability to mentor others on visualization techniques, dashboard layout, and analytical presentation
