Job summary

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Design or Software Engineering related fields such as Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Communication Design, Software Development, Illustration, and others.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with the willingness and ability to pass CI poly
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, data visualization, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities with ability to weigh costs and benefits
  • Highly developed interpersonal and oral/written communication skills with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills
  • Creative and artistic ability with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with web content management systems, particularly SharePoint.

Responsibilities

  • Graphic Design and Content Creation - design print and digital materials adhering to branding guidelines.
  • Data Visualization - transform data into charts, graphs, and diagrams.
  • Web and SharePoint Management - update and maintain websites and SharePoint sites.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to website design, navigation, and user experience.
  • Project Management and Collaboration - manage tasks and priorities in fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to meet project requirements.
  • Provide technical and creative input to improve reports and publications.
  • Stay current with industry trends in graphic design and data visualization.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Everforth ECS is seeking an Data Visualization, mid-level to work at our Springfield, VA customer site.

Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Data Visualization Work Role

The Data Visualization Work role is responsible for enhancing the visual appeal and comprehensibility of communication products through expert graphic support and development. This role involves planning, designing, and delivering a wide array of graphics, multimedia content, and data visualizations, such as dashboards, maps, charts, and graphs, to support an agency's branding, marketing, and business processes. Key duties include transforming complex data sets from various sources into compelling visuals, creating and editing content for web and print, providing technical and editorial guidance, and managing websites, particularly on SharePoint. These positions require interfacing with clients and senior‑level stakeholders to define project scope, develop creative concepts, and ensure final products meet specifications.

Duties May Include
  • Graphic Design and Content Creation - Design and produce a variety of print and digital materials, including reports, presentations, marketing collateral, and web graphics. Ensure all visual products adhere to established branding and style guides.
  • Data Visualization - Transform statistical data and complex information into accessible and engaging visual graphics, such as charts, graphs, and diagrams.
  • Web and SharePoint Management - Update and maintain the agency's website and SharePoint sites, ensuring all content is current, accurate, and visually appealing.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to website design, navigation, and user experience.
  • Project Management and Collaboration - Manage project tasks, prioritize workload, and effectively multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to understand project requirements and deliver products that meet their needs.
  • Technical and Creative Support - Provide technical guidance and creative input to improve the design and layout of reports, documents, and publications.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in graphic design and data visualization to continuously enhance the quality of work.
  • Other duties, as assigned.
Salary Range

$105,000-117,000

Desired Skills
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance
  • Experience advising or providing guidance on visual information policies and procedures
  • Familiarity with GEOINT Products and Services to include knowledge of their purpose, application, and dissemination
  • Experience working in a government or corporate environment
