Andersen is seeking a Software Engineer in Test to automate data validation across a scalable enterprise data and analytics platform. The role focuses on testing data, ETL processes, and Power BI reporting within a modern CI/CD-enabled environment.

You will design and implement automated test frameworks, write code in Python/C#/TypeScript, and collaborate with developers to ensure high-quality data products in Databricks and related data systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software testing experience with a strong data testing focus.
• Experience testing enterprise-scale data platforms and ETL processes.
• Proficient in SQL and data validation/reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Understand data and data-record testing requirements.
• Analyze data testing requirements and define coverage.
• Design automated tests and build a data test automation framework.
• Develop test code with developers and maintain in GitHub or test repos.
• Automate test design, execution, and reporting.
• Integrate automated tests into ADO pipelines/CI/CD.
• Validate data against source systems and perform automated reconciliation.
• Test data transformations/ETL processes and Databricks workloads.
• Test Power BI reports and dashboards.
