Job summary

Quantum Business Systems Inc. is seeking a Data System Analyst in Santa Clara, CA to translate business needs into data-driven solutions. You will harness Advanced SQL to extract insights and build interactive dashboards with Power BI or Tableau to support strategic decisions.

The role requires collaboration across IT, QA, operations, and business units, with a focus on data accuracy, end-to-end pipeline design, and effective communication of complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Advanced SQL for querying and data analysis; Python is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau for data visualization and reporting.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements for data solutions.
• Experience with AWS and Databricks; familiarity with SDLC and end-to-end pipeline design.

Data System Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize Advanced SQL to analyze, manipulate, and extract insights from large datasets.
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau or other Visualization tools to support business decision-making.
• Collaborate with developers, quality assurance, operations, IT, and business teams on cross-functional projects, from requirements gathering to testing and deployment.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide data-driven insights.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports and dashboards.
• Work independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Advanced SQL for querying and data analysis. Python is a plus
• Hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau or other Visualization tools for data visualization and reporting.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
