Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Data Strategy & Governance Manager to lead enterprise governance design and its operationalization across data ownership, quality, metadata, and policy enforcement.

You will translate strategy into actionable governance operating models and stand up governance councils, data classifications, access policies, and decision rights across the organization. Travel may be required up to 80% depending on client needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in data management, governance, or data strategy in enterprise environments.
• Minimum 5 years designing and operationalizing governance frameworks and operating models.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with data cataloging and lineage tooling (Collibra, Alation, Purview).
• Minimum 5 years of high-value consulting experience or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years working with regulatory and privacy compliance in data contexts.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 12 years of work experience if no degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data governance design and operationalization across ownership, stewardship, data quality, metadata, and policy enforcement.
• Translate data strategy into adoptable governance operating models for analytics and AI.
• Establish governance structures with councils, data classification and access policies, and accountability.
