Job description

New York

Kepler executes engineered marketing, where every message and ad delivered helps create a more personalized and productive relationship between brands and their consumers. We do this by acting as clients’ agency of record, as their in-house team, or some hybrid of the two – and by harnessing data and technology across all paid digital media and data-driven CRM channels.

Kepler prides itself on being a great place to work. In fact, we’re proud to share that AdAge recognized Kepler among the Best Places to Work in 2022, and Digiday named Kepler the Most Innovative Media Agency in both 2025 and 2026, validating our investment in our team, our tech, and our clients.

  • We're transparent with our employees. You'll hear updates on company financials, how we're performing against bonus goals, and how we're responding to challenges we face
  • We're growing. For you, that means unparalleled development opportunities and a role in shaping the direction of the company
  • We're fun. You'll work with and learn from the smartest people in the industry and have a blast doing it

Kepler is seeking a growth-oriented and data-driven Data Strategy & Analytics (DS&A) Senior Analyst to support this mission. This is a hybrid role – you will have the opportunity to lead the client engagement, developing deep relationships with clients and agency partners, in addition to providing data, measurement strategy, and analytical support. You’ll build knowledge and expertise in specific solutions across analytics, measurement, and advertising technology, as well as opportunities to teach and mentor analysts and peers.

The position requires strong quantitative and communication skills, business acumen to understand and advance client marketing strategy, a technical mind to operate and leverage the latest adtech platforms, and a desire to be part of a tightly knit team that’s out to change the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead data storytelling efforts, interpreting marketing performance data and crafting a holistic and succinct cross-channel performance story with actionable insights
  • Support your DS&A leader and work with peers to contribute to each client’s measurement roadmapManage client relationships and cultivate an understanding of key business questions and success drivers
  • Develop regular reporting on client campaign performance, working with Kepler and partner agency teams to establish strategic recommendations in response to data trends
  • Develop, manage, and execute against, a queue of custom analyses to uncover insights that support optimizations
  • Utilize your natural curiosity to advance client-specific measurement programs and create new solutions
  • Own the full data tech stack for your client teams, ensuring accurate data feeds into automated Kepler tools, our visualization platform, and your own analytics workstreams
  • Grow the collective knowledge of the DS&A department, presenting learnings from your accounts to the rest of the team and providing feedback on department tools and Kepler’s internal technology platform, Kip
Desired Skills and Experience:

As this is a hybrid role, there is a range of “ideal” candidates. Strong candidates may have client service experience with a strong desire to build technical/quantitative skills, or they may have marketing analytics background with a passion for data storytelling and a strong desire to build client management experience. If a candidate primarily has a client service background, they should be prepared to demonstrate strong interest, aptitude and relevant experience with data storytelling, marketing measurement, and performance analysis. If candidate has a technical background, they should be prepared to demonstrate strong interest, aptitude and relevant experience with direct client communication and relationship management. All candidates should possess most of the following skills/experiences:

  • 1-2+ years of experience of working with data for major digital media platforms (e.g. Google Marketing Platform, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.) across a range of digital channels (Search, Display, Social, Video, and Email). Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare verticals preferred.
  • Proven success at communicating complex insights and analytics, and establishing direct relationships with client stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience using platforms like Datorama, Looker, Power BI, and/or Tableau to organize and visualize data, and develop strategic insights.
  • Comfort with modern marketing data infrastructure, including ETL tools and data storage solutions, shaping the data’s downstream impact on analytics and insights; experience using SQL for analytics preferred.
  • Experience working with Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics for website tracking and insights; experience using tag management systems like GTM preferred.
  • Familiarity with adtech’s influence on targeting and measurement, and how emerging solutions are shaping the industry.
  • Appetite for learning new technologies and interest in building tools with Kepler tech, cross-team collaboration, and AI support.
  • Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to clients.
  • Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines and help your team to do the same.
Total Compensation:
