UTHealth Houston is seeking a Data Management & Sharing Compliance Specialist to support investigators by developing data management strategies that align with sponsor requirements. This role emphasizes the promotion of sustainable data stewardship and stakeholder collaboration, enhancing research impact.

The ideal candidate will manage data repositories, provide guidance on data sharing, and serve as a valuable resource for faculty. A Bachelor's degree is required, with 2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience required; experience with data repository systems preferred.
• Proficient understanding of data organization, documentation, storage, and sharing strategies.
• Knowledge of federal funding requirements and data sharing commitments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and promote institutional data repositories.
• Develop and review Data Management and Sharing Plans for grant proposals.
• Deliver training on data management best practices.
• Support interdisciplinary data-intensive research projects.
