Job summary

LAPP is seeking a Data Specialist to own data integrity across ERP, WMS, and expanding PIM/eCommerce platforms. You will create and maintain SKU records, verify attributes, manage costing data, and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure accurate data in every system.

You'll drive data standards, perform audits, support system implementations, and report data quality metrics. The role requires attention to detail, prior experience in distribution or manufacturing, and strong Excel with BI tool

Qualifications

• 2+ years in data entry, data management, or operations in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Direct experience with ERP item master, WMS, or PIM platforms (SAP, NetSuite, Epicor, or Manhattan a plus).
• Strong Excel skills; experience with Power BI or Tableau preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related field or equivalent experience.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain SKU and item master records in ERP and WMS systems, ensuring completeness before activation.
• Own costing data integrity: obtain, verify, and load manufacturer cost data; keep records current.
• Perform structured item master audits to identify stale records, missing attributes, and costing gaps.
• Process item setup and cost change requests from sourcing, sales, and operations; manage workflow.
• Define and enforce data entry standards for consistency and auditability across all records.
• Track and report data quality metrics including completeness, audit exceptions, and resolution time.
• Support ERP/WMS implementations and upgrades by ensuring data is mapped and tested before go-live.
• Partner with Sourcing, Finance, Warehouse Ops, Sales, and Pricing to resolve data issues across systems.
