Job summary

Chickasaw Nation Industries is seeking a Data Scientist IV to analyze complex datasets and drive data-driven decisions. You will apply statistical methods, machine learning, and coding to clean, organize, and interpret data while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include developing data management plans, implementing secure storage and de-identification, and delivering FISMA-compliant datasets with documentation for data users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and seven to nine years related experience.
• Experience constructing and managing research datasets with federal security requirements.
• Familiarity with de-identification and secure storage/transfer mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains the project data management plan with secure storage, transfer, retention, and destruction.
• Establishes encrypted storage and transfer mechanisms for recordings and transcripts.
• Constructs de-identified, FISMA-compliant datasets organized by site with data user manuals.
• Manages de-identification processes and custody of identification keys.
• Formats codebooks and coded datasets for delivery and long-term usability.
• Coordinates with the Qualitative Research Analyst and Regulatory Affairs Specialist on data security.
• Supports incident response and PII safeguarding procedures.
• Ensures data retention and closeout destruction per the data security plan.
