  • Research and integrate new data sources to expand data offerings.
  • Create and maintain high-quality internal documentation and data definitions.

Skills and Competencies
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy, required for maintaining complex databases
  • Business fluency in English (both written and verbal) is essential for client communication and documentation; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage
  • Proven ability to effectively support internal and external clients with data-related requests and inquiries
  • A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify and enhance existing processes and procedures
  • Strong documentation skills for creating clear internal procedures and data definitions
Education
  • An Undergraduate or advanced degree with coursework in economics, finance, statistics, or a related field is preferred
  • Requires 2-4 years of relevant work experience in data management, financial analysis, or a related field
Responsibilities
  • This role maintains, enriches, and documents company ownership databases, while providing direct support to internal and external clients for data-related inquiries.
  • Maintain and update the company's historical ownership databases with a high degree of timeliness and accuracy
  • Respond to and resolve client inquiries, providing assistance and support for accessing and understanding our data
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to existing processes and procedures to enhance data speed and accuracy
  • Research and integrate new data sources, including economic or demographic statistics, to expand the data offering
  • Create and maintain high-quality documentation, including internal procedures, data collection methods, and definitions

Our Data Solutions team is responsible for managing, enriching, and validating the complex ownership data that powers our financial intelligence products. We contribute to Moody’s by providing the foundational data that our clients rely on for risk assessment and decision-making, ensuring the integrity of our analytics platform.
