Job summary

Runtime is seeking a Data Solutions Team Lead to join our US delivery organization and work directly with enterprise customers on live IoT deployments. You’ll own data quality, performance, and insights across customer environments, collaborating with product and engineering to ensure deployments succeed.

You’ll lead a customer-facing, hands-on role at the crossroads of data, operations, and product, guiding dashboards and analyses that unlock tangible business impact for large-scale supply

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Math, CS, Data Science/Engineering or equivalent analytical field.
• 3–5+ years in data analysis, technical customer-facing roles, or similar.
• People or project management experience.
• Architecture experience across big data, data warehousing, and operational analytics.
• Strong Python skills; Spark experience preferred.
• Visualization tools experience: Plotly, Tableau, Power BI, Grafana.
• Solid grasp of statistics and relational databases (SQL; InfluxDB a plus).
• Excellent communication and autonomous work style.

• Guide customers and field teams on best practices to improve deployment performance.

About the Role

You'll own the quality and performance of data generated across customer environments, working within cross-functional teams alongside product and engineering to ensure deployments succeed and deliver meaningful outcomes. It's a highly customer-facing, hands-on role sitting at the crossroads of data, operations, and product.

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring

• Master's or Doctorate in Math, CS, Data Science/Engineering, or an equivalent analytical field
• 3-5+ years in data analysis, technical customer-facing roles, or similar
• People or project management experience
• Architecture experience across big data, data warehousing, and operational analytics
• Strong Python skills; experience with Spark strongly preferred
• Visualisation tooling experience (Plotly, Tableau, Power BI, Grafana)
• Solid grasp of statistical analysis and relational database structures (SQL; InfluxDB a plus)
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability
• Excellent communication skills and comfort operating with autonomy
