TISTA Science and Technology Corporation in Rockville, MD seeks a Data & Solution Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of modern data, analytics, and AI solutions for enterprise and public-sector customers. This role focuses on scalable Data Lakehouse capabilities using Databricks and Palantir Foundry/AIP, real-time data ingestion, and production-grade AI.

The role is customer-facing and delivery-oriented, embedding with government teams and guiding solutions from discovery

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in data engineering, data platform engineering, software engineering, data architecture, or solution architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, PySpark, Spark SQL, Delta Lake, and Lakehouse patterns.
• Experience with cloud environments: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Responsabilités

• Translate business requirements into technical roadmaps, architecture diagrams, and production plans.
• Serve as trusted advisor to stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
• Drive adoption, ROI, and operational improvement for data and AI capabilities.
• Lead end-to-end solution architecture for data engineering, analytics, and AI initiatives.
• Embed with government and public-sector teams to understand mission needs.
