EPAM Systems is seeking an experienced Data Software Engineer to expand expertise in data-driven software delivery. You will advance Python and SQL capabilities, work with Cloud, Big Data, and NoSQL technologies, and collaborate across product and engineering teams to shape decision-making.

• Proficiency in Python and SQL.

• Develop and implement Cloud, On-Premise, and Hybrid solutions utilizing superior data frameworks.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand and drive decision-making.
• Maintain synergy with architects, technical leads, and key individuals within other functional teams.
• Analyze business and technical environment problems and leverage insights to design and implement quality technical solutions.
• Engage in code reviews and test solutions to ensure adherence to best-practice specifications.
• Promote and uphold a high-performance engineering culture.
• Write comprehensive project documentation.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Practical experience with GenAI/LLM tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) within the software/data delivery lifecycle (AI SDLC)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilitiesB2+ command of the English language

Nice to have

• Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and best practices
• Exposure to Databricks
• Experience with the Pandas libraryExperience in high-load and IoT Data Platform architectures and infrastructures
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
