INSPYR Solutions seeks a Data Service Technician / Field Technician for contract-to-hire work in St. Louis and Indianapolis. You will run low-voltage cabling, terminate and test cables, and dress installations while supporting MDF/IDF closets and network hardware.

You’ll work with CAT5e/CAT6A, fiber optics, CCTV and POS gear, and may need to cover on-call/shift rotations. This role leads to full-time employment after 720 hours, with competitive pay and benefits.

Formación

• Cabling infrastructure experience with Cat5e/Cat6A and fiber optics.
• Comfort reading color codes and identifying independent colors.
• Willingness to work on-call, early/late shifts and weekends.

Job title: Data Service Technician / Field Technician
Location: St Louis and Indianapolis
Duration: Contract to Hire (After 720 working hours, will be eligible to go fulltime with my client)
Hourly pay rate: $30

Requirements:

• Cabling & Infrastructure: Running low-voltage cable, terminating, testing, and dressing Cat5e/Cat6A and fiber optic cables.
• Network Deployment: Installing MDF/IDF closets, rack-mounting network switches, and managing CCTV, POS equipment, and wireless access points
• Data Cable Technician with CAT5e, fiber optic, and network experience.
• Industry-specific certifications (BICSI, Systimax, Panduit, Beldon, Corning) are a huge plus.
• Flexible and willing to work on-call, early morning, day, night, and weekend shifts depending on the requirements of the job.
• Excellent customer relationship and communication skills; verbal and written.
• Knowledgeable in identifying independent colors and learning color codes.
• Must have knowledge of cabling infrastructure.
• Experience in conduit installation is a plus.
