Job summary

Zscaler is seeking a Practice Architect - Data Security to lead end-to-end enablement content, reference architectures, and field methodologies for the Data Security portfolio. This remote role reports to the Sr. Manager, Global Practice Architects within the CS Technology Practices team.

You will drive complex engagements, build the practice library, and mentor delivery teams while collaborating with Product to align on releases and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools.
• 7+ years in enterprise security, with 4+ years hands-on in data protection (DLP/CASB/DSPM/governance).
• Proven track record delivering complex post-sales engagements at enterprise scale.
• Experience producing technical methodology with clear field adoption evidence.
• High technical credibility across security architects and CISOs.
• Breadth across TLS/SSL inspection, proxy architectures, identity integration, SaaS API integration, endpoint agents.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation for complex, strategic customer engagements in data security.
• Own the practice content portfolio end-to-end, creating reference architectures, playbooks, design templates, runbooks.
• Train delivery teams and mentor consultants to become data security experts.
• Maintain a working lab to validate capabilities before field deployment and convert learnings into reusable assets.
• Serve as the named NPI owner for data protection releases and coordinate with Product teams.
