Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting a Data Security Manager in ISRM. The role may be based in the Raritan, NJ office or remote in the U.S. with periodic travel to Raritan. You will lead the Data Protection Program, govern security controls, and partner with Legal, Privacy, HR, and business teams to mitigate risk.

The role requires at least 6 years in IT security and 2 years in data security, plus strong collaboration and communication skills to influence at all levels.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of dynamic experience in IT security management and/or IT roles.
• At least 2 years in data security (governance, data labeling, or related measures).
• Deep knowledge of information security processes and business value of cybersecurity.
• Experience assessing threats, mitigations, and security vendors/technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise Data Protection Program governance, processes, metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Own data protection exception management including USB, webmail, file-sharing and secure data transfer.
• Coordinate risk reviews, remediation actions, and lifecycle management for exceptions.
• Reduce exception volume via secure alternatives, controls, education, and automation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement risk-based data protection controls.
• Develop and report program performance metrics, exception trends, and executive insights.
