Job summary

Synopsys, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled cybersecurity engineer to protect enterprise data across email, endpoint, cloud, and networks.

You will lead DLP and information protection initiatives, collaborate with legal and compliance, and guide data-centric security across the organization. You will mentor engineers and drive adoption of robust data protection controls while enabling innovation and growth within a global enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or related field.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in a senior or lead role.
• Deep hands-on with Microsoft Information Protection Suite.
• Experience with enterprise DLP across email, endpoint, cloud, and SaaS.
• Experience with data classification and information governance.
• Experience securing Microsoft 365 workloads.
• Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, PCI-DSS, SOX, and other compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise DLP and Information Protection.
• Manage data protection controls across email, endpoint, cloud, and collaboration platforms.
• Support Purview Information Protection, DLP, and Sensitivity Labeling capabilities.
• Design data security policies using Microsoft Data Protection Suite capabilities.
• Manage inline DLP, CASB, and cloud security controls.
• Develop data classification frameworks, sensitivity labels, and labeling rules.
• Collaborate with legal, privacy, compliance, and business stakeholders.
• Investigate and resolve DLP incidents across enterprise environments.
• Establish governance for data protection, labeling, and secure handling.
• Support Zero Trust initiatives with data-centric controls.
• Automate operations and reporting through scripting and security workflows.
• Document architectures, standards, and runbooks.
