Job summary

Network Health is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer to establish and maintain a comprehensive security program protecting information assets, systems, and processes. The role reports to the CIO and requires extensive senior IT and health plan domain experience, with hybrid work options in Wisconsin.

The CISO will lead incident response, risk management, and security policy development, while overseeing security operations, awareness, and regulatory compliance across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, engineering or closely related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 10 years’ experience in senior IT roles required.
• 10 years’ experience and knowledge of the Health Plan business required.
• 3+ years’ experience in a leadership position.
• CISA, CISM or CISSP or ability to obtain within one year in the position.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident response team interplay with compliance and legal where appropriate.
• Define, develop, and implement risk management structures, strategies, and policies.
• Govern, evaluate, and respond to risks involving protected data and ensure security policies operate compliantly.
• Provide senior technical leadership to IT and the enterprise.
• Oversee IDS architectures, firewall architectures, and forensics methods.
• Oversee development and enforcement of information security standards and procedures.
• Conduct threat and vulnerability assessments as appropriate.
• Oversee investigations of data security breaches and internal communications.
• Develop and champion the corporate security awareness program.
