General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Data Scientist to help turn data into action and support our customers' mission with advanced analytics and AI/ML capabilities. The role focuses on integrating new tools, evaluating AI/ML options, and leveraging cloud environments while conducting multimedia forensics.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Information Technology or related field.
• 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience integrating new COTS capabilities into customer environments.
• Experience evaluating AI/ML capabilities in customer environments.
• Experience with cloud services and cloud infrastructure.
• Forensics of multimedia (images, videos, audio).
• Security clearance TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide system engineering support for integration, coordination and documentation of new capabilities.
• Support data science evaluation of AI/ML capabilities for customers.
• Develop and support systems leveraging cloud services and infrastructure.
• Perform forensics analysis on multimedia content.
• Support AWS cloud and Linux environments as needed.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: BA/BS in Information Technology or related field
• Experience: 15+ years
• Required skills:
• Demonstrated experience providing system engineering support of integration, coordination, and documentation of new COTS capabilities into a customer's environment
• Demonstrated experience providing data science support of evaluation of new Al/ML capabilities into a customer's environment
• Demonstrated experience supporting and developing systems leveraging cloud services and cloud infrastructure
• Demonstrated experience conducing forensics of multimedia (images, videos, and audio)
• Demonstrated experience with current deepfake creation and detection methods
• Desired skills:
• Demonstrated project management experience
• Demonstrated experience using MS Teams
• Demonstrated experience supporting lifecycle processes related to publicly available information collected to address a specific requirement.
• Demonstrated experience with existing Sponsor environment relating to the collection and processing of publicly available information.
• Demonstrated experience with AWS Cloud services
• Demonstrated experience with Linux
• Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Polygraph.

The likely salary range for this position is $225,250 - $304,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
