Job summary

NorthHill Technology is seeking an experienced Data Scientist with Python expertise and a GEOINT background to support a federal program in Springfield, VA. A current TS/SCI clearance is required.

You will apply advanced analytics to modernize analytic workflows and generate actionable insights for mission teams and decision-makers. The role involves preprocessing data, building analytic models, and creating dashboards that help planners and operators understand complex data from imagery,

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in Python and/or R with common scientific libraries (NumPy, Pandas).
• Experience with governance and handling structured and unstructured data.
• Experience building analytic dashboards or visualization apps to support operations.

Responsibilities

• Preprocess data and engineer features for structured and unstructured data.
• Mine and maintain large analytic datasets for quality and usability at scale.
• Develop advanced analytics methods for GEOINT and multi-INT environments.
• Create Python scripts to enable reproducible workflows using scientific computing libraries.
• Perform data analysis on GEOINT datasets to uncover relationships and trends.
• Create visualizations and dashboards to convey data-driven stories.
