Realign LLC in Seattle, WA is hiring a Data Scientist - Supply Chain Analytics for an onsite role to analyze and optimize MRO and part supply chain processes using AWS-based data modeling, machine learning, and NLP/GenAI. You will build and deploy predictive solutions that turn data into actionable outputs for business and operations stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS-based data modeling and ML.
  • Proficiency in NLP and GenAI frameworks.
  • Strong Python or other programming language experience.
  • Experience with MRO or supply chain analytics is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the current MRO process flow and gather requirements.
  • Analyze maintenance, repair, and overhaul data to identify optimization opportunities that improve service speed and quality.
  • Develop and test machine learning models to predict issues for future operations based on historical analysis.
  • Validate report outputs by comparing generated reports against human-written reports.
  • Detect data trends such as when the last buyer updated records to identify potentially stale, complete, cancelled, and/or erroneous records.
  • Incorporate models into a broader application to drive actions by business and operations stakeholders.
  • Build ingestion and modeling patterns, including developing new data ingestion patterns using existing frameworks.
  • Make model outputs available for consumption by applications and self-service.
  • Implement security, governance, monitoring, alerting, and job orchestration as defined by ARB.
  • Deploy ingestion pipelines to dev, pre, and production environments.
  • Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms (for example CloudWatch and SNS).
  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, functional, and non-functional testing, then validate data and developed models.
  • Document runbook details, including cloud and code assets, and support handover with a training session.

You’ll build and deploy predictive solutions that turn data into actionable outputs for business and operations stakeholders.

What you’ll do

Modeling and analytics focus
  • Apply advanced analytics, including an algorithmic framework to process financial data and generate structured reports.
  • Use NLP/GenAI capabilities, including an algorithmic framework to process and derive insights from unstructured constraint notes data.
  • Publish model performance metrics including accuracy, precision, recall, F1-Score, MSE, and R-squared.
  • Follow Agile standards for proposal development, including reviews, frequent stakeholder communication, and project planning with milestones and deliverables.
  • Develop modular code that passes static and dynamic Info-sec vulnerability scans, and automate solution updates such as deployments, certificate updates, infrastructure changes, code changes, and failure notifications.
What you bring
  • AWS proficiency across AI/ML modeling, data modeling, data engineering, and data analytics; experience with Tableau and Azure DevOps for project management.
  • Strong Python and/or other programming language experience.
  • Ability to perform data analysis on MRO process trends and part supply chain bottlenecks.
  • Experience with unstructured data processing and NLP.
  • Experience with generative-ai and agentic AI frameworks.
  • Experience applying analytics to business problems.
  • Supply chain domain knowledge including inventory management, procurement, and logistics.
Tools and technologies
