Job summary

Bishop-McCormick in San Francisco seeks a Data Scientist to join the Strategy & Analytics Group. You will work at the intersection of data engineering and executive decision-making, turning massive, unstructured client data into predictive models that drive multimillion-dollar pivots.

You will design and deploy advanced ML models, lead end-to-end data work, and translate findings for C-suite stakeholders while building dashboards and reusable analytics tools to shape client strategy.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in Python or R with Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Expert SQL skills and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS).
• Ability to visualize complex data for business storytelling (Tableau/PowerBI/Plotly).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning models for business problems.
• Lead end-to-end data lifecycle from ingestion to validation.
• Translate technical findings for non-technical stakeholders and C-suite clients.
• Develop automated dashboards and internal analytics libraries.
• Audit models for bias, efficiency, and scalability with actionable recommendations.
